Happy New Comics Wednesday 11/2/16 - BIG, BIG week, Artist Spotlight Opening Reception tonight, Vegas Valley Comic Book Festival Saturday!!, Scarlet Witch, Batman, Superman, Animosity, Unworthy Thor, Avengers, Walking Dead edition!

 James Robinson, he who writes Scarlet Witch, will be one of the guests of This Saturday's Vegas Valley Comic Book Festival at the Clark County Library (almost directly behind Alternate Reality Comics!)! J.H. Williams III (Sandman Overture, Promethea) is one of the other big guests and they'll both be at Alternate's booth signing after their panels too!  Errol Vernon Sawyer III's Artist Spotlight Opening Reception is tonight (Wednesday) from 4-7pm featuring his wonderful stream of consciousness art! This is the most experimental Artist Spotlight we've had to date and he hope you'll stop by and give Errol some feedback!

 Cave Carson #1 is co-written by Gerard Way, so if you liked Doom Patrol issues #1 & #2 (whcih we still have copies of), you will dig this too! New Love and Rockets!! New arc on Tom King's Batman, with artist Mikel Janin!

 What's up with Doctor Doom being Iron Man (I don't know yet, it's 2pm Tuesday afternoon and I haven't read this yet!)!?

New Azzarello & Risso - Moonshine #1! What is Archie Meets Ramones!? - exactly what it sounds like it is!

Today at Alternate Reality Comics from 4-7pm is Matt Ortego's Artist Spotlight Opening Reception! Really cool painted works (also some Marvel and DC characters)!
