Grandpa Won't Wake Up is the newest cartoon book by Shannon Wheeler (of Too Much Coffee Man fame) and is a nice hardcover book published by Boom! Town in a format that evokes the little big books of yesteryear.
See this little cartoon here? This and the title of Grandpa Won't Wake Up is exactly what this book is about, but despite how this may look, it's probably not intended for little kids unless they have a really odd sense of humor!

I'm not sure why the other reviewers are saying this isn't appropriate for children. It's perfect for children. The font is large and readable, the language is simple, and the story provides a great introduction to serious matters including death, nazis, and redneck uncles. My daughter reads the entire book to me at bedtime. I highly encourage parents of small children to invest in this wonderful book. It provides a much need respite from Dr. Seuss and Goodnight Moon.STC Technologies
